Youth Development
Buy-A-Brick CampaignThe City of Smyrna has expanded Brinkley Park across Legion Drive to the area between King Springs Road and Legion Drive. As a result, American Legion Smyrna Post 160 has recently relocated to a new facility on property adjacent to its old building which has served the organization and the local community since 1948. The new facility has been designed to conform to ADA Standards for Accessible Design and the U.S. Green Building Council LEED® Green Building Rating System™. For a minimum contribution of $50, a customized, engraved, 4x8-inch brick paver may be designated for any veteran, family member, friend, or relative. All brick pavers will be placed in the flag courtyard in front of the new Post overlooking the expanded Brinkley Park complex. Proceeds from this campaign will be used to help fund the installation and ongoing maintenance of the landscaping, walkways, monuments, and flag courtyard at the new facility. Veterans, their families, and loved ones are encouraged to take part in the development of this important new facility by making a contribution to the Smyrna American Legion Post 160 Building Fund. Please help to \"Pave The Way\" and Buy-a-Brick today!
