Austin State Hospital's Volunteer Services Council is dedicated to improving the lives of adults and children receiving care at Austin State Hospital (ASH). Each year Austin State Hospital serves over 4,400 Texans from 38 counties for adults and 71 counties for children. While state funding provides for basic care, donations to the VSC help fund innovative programs and projects that supplement and improve treatment outcomes.
