Help Sew Happy Hats With CIS StudentsThursday, August 05, 2010Communities in Schools students and staff will be doing exciting service learning projects together this year. Students and Staff will be decorating and sewing soft, jester-like hats together to give to critically or chronically ill children. A \"Glories Happy Hat\" is intended to create \"happy thoughts\" and enhance the healing process in hospital environments. The Happy Hats program is designed to create a community youth-driven team-building process.
