CWU Celebrates Career Family Opportunity!On Tuesday, November 10, 2009 in South Boston CWU celebrated Career Family Opportunity (CFO), a program which launched June 2009 as a pathway to economic self-sufficiency for low-income single parents. Grand Opening Ceremony Among the many featured speakers at the grand opening ceremony were The Honorable Brian P. Wallace of the Massachusetts House of Representatives and The Honorable Jack Hart of the Massachusetts Senate. Michelle Feliz, a participant of the program, also spoke. Michelle is one of 21 Career Family Organizers (CFOs) who, with her mentor, has created an individualized, practical plan toward attaining a family-sustaining job and building a savings.
