The Partnership for Maternal and Neonatal Health (PMNH) serves women and their families in the rural, isolated district of West Pokot, Kenya, working to strengthen the capacity of the local health system and community health providers to provide antenatal care, safe delivery and newborn care, and emergency obstetric services, in response to extremely high rates of maternal and neonatal mortality in the region. The program also increases interaction between communities and local health services through community health educators and outreach services.
