dude share the foodWe take food to homeless people in Douglasville and Downtown Atlanta 3 times a week. We make approximately 150 sack lunches on Tuesday mornings about 9:00 AM. We are usually done about 10:30 AM. These lunches are taken Downtown on Tuesdays about 5:00 PM. We also make 150 sack lunches or deliver hot meals on Saturdays. We meet about 11:00 AM to get the lunches ready and they are taken Downtown and to Douglasville about Noon. We also make 150 lunches on Sunday at about 11:15 AM. These lunches are delivered Downtown about Noon.
FoodWe need donations of bread, bologna, mustard and mayonnaise packets, fruit, sweets, salty snacks, lunch bags, snack bags, sandwich bags. We take out 150 lunches 3 days per week.
Blankets for homeless peopleWe will be taking blankets (or fleece throws) to homeless people in Downtown Atlanta on Christmas Eve, Wednesday, December 24, 2009. We need donations of blankets (or fleece throws), personal care items (no mouthwash), candy, large garbage bags, warm clothing (hats, gloves, coats), etc.
