Earthwatch Volunteer on a scientific field research project Volunteering Monday, Dec 31, 2007 - Thursday, Dec 30, 2010

Earthwatch volunteers participate in real, scientific field research projects around the world. From the Arctic to Australia, from New York City to Inner Mongolia, scientists are working with our volunteers to collect critical environmental data.

We have expeditions for adults, teens, families and school or other groups.

You can:
- Capture, examine, tag and release crocodiles in Zambia, birds in the Tetons of Wyoming, or fossa in Madagascar
- Dig for fossils where the Leakeys worked at Olduvai Gorge in Tanzania, or on Easter Island, in Fiji or in Thailand.
- Observe and photograph dolphins and whales in the Bahamas, the UK, Greece or Canada
- Snorkel or SCUBA dive in the Seychelles or the Caribbean to monitor coral reef health.

Earthwatch supports over 100 expeditions all over the world. Find the project that's right for you.
