Perspectives ~ Changing Lives with Photography At risk youths in Nicaragua have a lot of challenges and the drop out rate is 50% before 5th grade. Perspectives is a program that provides at risk youth with the opportunity to learn digital photography as an art and outlet and means for expression. Not only does te program provide artistic skills but it also provides business and leadership skills as the youth learn to run their own program and business. Perspectives vision is to create a sustainable program where income is generated with photographic mentoring tours, sales of students photographic products and more. In its' early stages, Perspectives needs seed money.
Fiesta de Esperanza - Festival of HopeSaturday, September 06, 2008 - Tuesday, December 30, 2008September 6, 2008 at the Butterfly Pavilion in Westminster CO. Salsa dancing, live music, Nicaraguan art and pottery and great food. 7pm to 11pm.
CondominiumsDo you have a timeshare or condo you are not using 100%? We could use it as an auction item for our 5th Annual Fiesta de Esperanza. All proceeds go to helping children in Nicaragua attend school as well as empower their parents to be a part of the process.
