Community Marketing CoordinatorMonday, January 05, 2009 - Tuesday, March 31, 2009A Community Marketing Coordinator is needed to help us promote Hearing Impaired Persons (HIP) and the program services offered by our organization. The Coordinator will be responsible for: Developing a marketing strategy to give our organization more community exposure, Marketing programs and events in online and print opportunities, Creating a quarterly newsletter. This volunteer position will prove challenging not in the time invested, but in increasing community awareness. Hearing loss is an invisible disability, and not easily understood by those who are not directly effected by it. Our organization has existed since 1989 and we serve more than 1500 people a year, yet the vast majority of this area's residents have never heard of HIP or our programs. There are thousands of people in this area who need our services and we have to find better ways to reach them. It is our hope to find a volunteer Community Marketing Coordinator who will join us in this endeavor.
