The American History and Music Festival (tm)THE AMERICAN HISTORY AND MUSIC FESTIVAL (tm)
The American History and Music Festival (tm) will feature
a series of concerts and educational programs
in the Boston/North of Boston region.
Performances by professional musicians/scholars,
performing period music from various American eras
in historically-informed style, on period instruments;
dramatic performances; professional informational talks
and other events will be part of the Festival.
Educational components in schools, and community centers will also be features of the Festival.
The Festival is founded and directed by musicians/scholars Jim and Maggi Dalton,
and sponsored by the nonprofit organization
The Institute for Music, History, and Cultural Traditions, Inc.
Proceeds from the Festival benefit the educational programs of IMHCT.ORG
