Sixty years after Nobel Peace Prize laureate Dr. Albert Schweitzer visited Boston, Longwood Symphony Orchestra joins the Albert Schweitzer Fellowship in celebrating Schweitzer’s contemporary legacy in the U.S. and Africa, especially the work of the Schweitzer Fellows and the Schweitzer Hospitals in Lambaréné and Haiti.
Longwood Symphony’s dedication to music, medicine and service resonates with the life and work of Dr. Schweitzer himself.
