Help Elders Get to the Doctor'sWednesday, October 08, 2008 - Wednesday, December 30, 2009Going to the doctor's can be nerve-wracking and scary, especially for an elder who may be frail or confused. Volunteer to help elders get to and from doctor's appointments, and help them feel less alone. You can provide the physical or emotional support they need to get to their appointment, navigate confusing hospital corridors or remember to make a follow-up appointment. Volunteer on your own schedule: you can accept requests when you're free. We need volunteers with and without cars.
