Grant Writing/Development InternshipMSPCC's Development Team is seeking an intern for the fall and/or spring semester to assist with all aspects of grant writing, research and preparation for government, private foundation and corporate grant opportunities. Participate in the researching, preparing and organizing of grant proposals that generate $1,000,000 annually for the agency's charitable work. This is a non-paid, for credit internship.
Requirements:
- A strong interest in child welfare and in MSPCC's mission to prevent child abuse and neglect
- Ability to work well independently, and also as part of a team
- An outgoing personality and strong interpersonal skills
- Initiative and ability to follow-through on all assigned tasks and attention to detail
- Timeliness and professionalism
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the Internet
- Experience with proposal development a plus, but not required
