We have an immediate opening for a head teacher and will need another teacher starting in August of 08.

The head teacher works with a core team consisting of 2 assistant teachers and a licensed clinician. All members of the team are well qualified, experienced and committed to the agency and to helping children with emotional disturbances. The team works closely together and values open communication, integrity, conscientiousness and a sense of humor. The team also provides a great deal of support for each other in dealing with the demands of working with emotionally disturbed children.
We provide continuous training and education through treatment reviews, case conference, team building workshops and more.

The classroom consists of up to 7 children, ranging in ages from K - 12. The classroom environment is highly-structured and consistent, yet flexible and fun. Impromptu walks to Golden Gate Park on warm, sunny afternoons are a favorite activity of teachers and students.
