Personal Enrichment through Mental Health Services, Inc. (PEMHS) is located at 11254 58th Street North, Pinellas Park, Florida 33782. The history of this private, non-profit 501(c)(3) agency dates back to 1981 when Personal Enrichment through Mental Health Services (PEMHS) was formed as a result of a community need. PEMHS was established as public receiving facility in Pinellas County to address the needs of those individuals exiting the state hospitals and returning to the community as part of movement towards deinstitutionalization. From that beginning, the organization has evolved and our continuum of services provides individuals with an array of programs to support families, prevent placement in more restrictive settings, and effectively address the crisis and long-term mental health needs of the community. PEMHS serves Pinellas County as the public receiving facility for mental health crisis stabilization services for both adults and children and provides services to all citizens eligible for Baker Act services, regardless of their ability to pay.
