Elected officials and community leaders throughout Pinellas County share a commitment to improving the quality of life for all of our citizens, and we have adopted a vision that no one in Pinellas County should be homeless.

%newline%The Pinellas County Coalition for the Homeless, Inc. (PCCH) is an independent, community-based, tax-exempt, nonprofit organization whose mission is to serve and support the communities, agencies, and organizations concerned with homelessness by providing community education, advocacy, program support, capacity building and technical assistance.

%newline%The Coalition serves as the lead agency to identify needs, maintain inventories of beds and services, identify gaps, develop a continuum of strategies to respond to those gaps, and to advocate for and solicit funds to move those strategies forward.

%newline%In addition to its lead agency role, PCCH also conducts various direct services including the annual point-in-time homeless count, the cold night shelter program, Project Homeless Connect, and bus pass distribution.

%newline%The Coalition is supported by local and state government grants and the generous contributions from concerned individuals and organizations. An annual auction and an awards breakfast raise funds to cover the costs associated with the Cold Night Shelter Program and other direct services.
