FOUNDATION SUPPORTS FAMILIES AFFECTED BY EPILEPSYThe Tyler Foundation supports families from across the country who come to Children’s Hospital Boston for their child’s epilepsy treatment, by offering them financial assistance and resources. Tickets are now on sale for the foundation’s first annual fundraiser, which is set for October 9, 2009 in Devens, MA. Families from MA, CT and RI have already received help from the Tyler Foundation, and many more families are in need. Event: Tyler Foundation Annual Fundraiser Date: October 9, 2009 Time: 6:00 P.M. – 11:00 P.M. Location: Devens Common Center, Devens, MA Event will include: Cocktails, Appetizers, Dinner, Silent Auction, Guest Speaker, Live Band and Dancing All funds from this event will go to the Tyler Foundation Fund for Extraordinary Needs at Children’s Hospital Boston. “We are so excited for our silent auction items. The community has been incredibly generous in their donations, and we’re thrilled to feature some really unique and amazing items”, says Heather Plotkin, co-founder of The Tyler Foundation. More than 100 items have been donated, including; autographed photos of Ray Bourque, Jason Varitek, and Milan Lucic, autographed posters from five Broadway shoes, a family-four pack to CoCo Key Water Resort, four free passes to tour Fenway Park, two racing packages from F1 Boston, After work pool party at Jillian's Boston, Lift tickets to Mount Sunapee, Cranmore Mountain Resort and Wachusett Mountain, an American Girl Doll named Chrissa, fun family activities such as Santa's Village, Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Baily Circus, Lake Compounce, StoryLand, Old Sturbridge Village, plus Gift Certificates to restaurants such as Legal Seafood, and Panera Bread.
