Tyler Foundation Donation DriveWith your donations we were able to help out 60 families at Children’s Hospital Boston. For Thanksgiving, we donated 30 gift bags filled with Bertucci’s gift cards, free parking passes, and other treats. For the holiday season we were able to donate another 30 gift bags filled with Bertucci’s gift cards, free parking passes and coffee that was generously donated by the Cambridge area Starbucks’ employees.
Our goal for 2008 is to raise $25,000 to start an Extraordinary Needs Fund at Children’s Hospital Boston. The Children’s Hospital Trust and Center for Families will take responsibility for distributing the funds directly to families to assist with meal purchases, parking, and hotel costs. Our conversations with the social workers for the neurology department have let us know that you are helping us fill significant needs that are often overlooked.
