Twitter is full of great videos. But how to preserve it for future generations? While tweets may seem temporary, you can save videos you’ve seen in your timeline and feed. Unfortunately, Twitter doesn’t provide a built-in way to save videos.
It follows that videos posted on Twitter may be exclusive for a while. It remains only to download it, possibly process, and publish for your own purposes.
But the service itself is very scrupulous about the content of the authors and does not allow you to just download the video. You can share the tweet itself, but you won’t be able to download the file to your device. But there are ways around this limitation.
In this article, we’ll show you how to save videos from Twitter. And if you use the Download Videos from Twitter tool, upload your favorite videos to all your devices easily and quickly.

How to Download Twitter Videos to Your iOS Device
The way you download videos from Twitter on iOS is more complicated compared to desktop or Android. This is due to how iOS handles media playback and download.
Open Twitter website or Applicaiton and go to the Tweet you want to download the video from. Click the Share icon (up arrow) and select Share a tweet over. Select Copy the link to the tweet.
Then open the MyMedia app. Click on the built-in browser below. In the URLs bar, navigate to twitter video download (or any of the other services listed in the desktop section above).
Press and hold the Enter Twitter address and paste the URL there. click on the “Download” button.
You’ll then see different quality options like 480p and 720p. The higher the number, the higher the accuracy. Press and hold the selected download button and copy the link.
Paste this link into the MyMedia address bar and click the download icon, and the video will then be saved in the Media section of MyMedia.
You can finish here and leave the video in the MyMedia app if you want. However, you’ll probably want to move the video to the camera gallery in iOS.
To do this, go to the Media section of MyMedia, tap the video, and then tap Save to camera. You can now access the video just like any other media file you’ve created. If you’re looking for a good multimedia app, check out our guide to the best video playback apps for iPhone.
